Applications are invited for the enure post of Controller of Examinations in eight copies.

Applicants shall not be below 45 years and not above 55 years as on the date of notification.

Qualification:

1. A Master's degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale; at least 15 years of experience as Lecturer [Senior Scale] / Lecturer with eight years in Reader's grade along with experience in educational administrations; [or]
2. Comparable experience in research establishment and I or other institutions of higher Education, [or]
3. 15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post and
4. Ph.D. qualification in the respective field is desirable

Scale of pay: 16400-450-20900-500-22400 Plus allowances as per rules.

The application forms can be obtained either in person or by post on payment of Rs.200/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST candidates on production of Xerox copy of the Community Certificate) by demand draft obtained from any Nationalised Bank drawn in favour of the Registrar, University of Madras with self addressed stamped envelope of size [25 x 12 cm] to the value of Rs.20/- for sending trie application by post.
