Applications in 08 (Eight) sets in the prescribed form are invited from the eligible Indian Citizens for the following teaching posts in the Postgraduate Departments at Kuvempu University, Shankaraghata, P.G. Centre Kadur and University Constituent Colleges (Sahyadri Arts and Commerce College, and Sahyadri Science College, Shimoga).

The eligible Indian Nationals who are residing abroad may also apply.

The prescribed application format and general instructions regarding qualifications, etc., can be down loaded from the University website: www.Kuvempu.ac.in.

The fee of Rs. 2,000 shall be paid for the post of Professor, Rs.1,500/- for the post of Reader and Rs.750/- for the post of Lecturer.

The said amount may be paid in cash at the Office of the Finance Officer, Kuvempu University, Shankaraghatta. (or)

D.D. drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, Kuvempu University, payable at State Bank of Mysore, Jnanasahyadri Branch - 577 115 or State Bank of India, Shankaraghatta - 577 451.

Applications duly filled in all respects should reach the following addresses on or before 26th October, 2009.

Note:

Those candidates who are eligible / qualified as per UGC Letter No. F.1-1/2002(PS) Exemp. Dated: 15 - 06 - 2009 and Government Letter No. ED 101 USV2009, Dated: 18 - 08 - 2009.

Have already applied in response to the earlier advertisement No. KU-HRM-1:2008 - 09:1100: Dated:30 - 05 - 2008 & No: KU:HRM-6:1151 & 1152: 2008 - 09: Dated:03 - 06 - 2008 need not apply again.

However, the candidates who have already applied are advised to see the University Readvertisement and verify their respective reservations and if he / she notices that the reservation quota for which he / she has applied does not appear.

If he / she is interested, his / her applications will be considered against the GM vacancies subject to eligibility.

However, under any circumstances, the fees once paid shall not be refunded.
